A prominent, top-tier general contractor in Malaysia was awarded a critical section of a national highway construction project. To meet the stringent quality standards required for government-grade road networks, the client needed a high-capacity, reliable crushing solution capable of processing tough, abrasive river stone into highly cubical, precisely graded aggregates.
Processing river stone presents unique challenges due to its high hardness and silica content, which can cause severe wear and tear on machinery if the plant is not properly engineered. Optimized Multi-Stage Crushing Circuit

To efficiently reduce the durable river stone and optimize the particle shape, Andamine implemented a robust multi-stage crushing and screening circuit:

• Primary Stage: Heavy-duty feeders and jaw crushers to handle large-sized river pebbles efficiently.
• Secondary & Tertiary Stages: High-efficiency cone crushers specifically configured for hard materials to ensure high reduction ratios and excellent cubical shape.
• Screening Stage: High-amplitude vibrating screens ensuring precise separation into the exact four fractions requested by the client.

The plant was calibrated to produce four distinct aggregate sizes perfectly suited for modern road construction:

• 0–5mm: Fine aggregate/sand for asphalt mix and base binding.
• 5–10mm & 10–20mm: Premium aggregates for high-grade asphalt concrete pavement.
